Brainteaser
Brainteaser reflects the typical sound of Action in Progress, pedal to the metal and a variety of melody lines.
You have barely digested the first melody when the next one grabs your attention! Behind every corner a new fascinating event awaits you. The listener rocks down the roller-coaster, propelled by the rhythm and successive guitar licks. You can’t get off, you have to follow along until the last note and then…. you can breathe again.
Granted, it takes some effort, but listen again and again, it only gets better. The name of this song was inspired by the stimuli you have to deal with listening and enjoying this track.
Hopefully it will be a brain-pleaser for you….
Omura
A story about a rare, seldom seen whale that is coming to the surface with the smooth violin intro supported by a deep synth pad.
The first part is told by the melodic guitar parts that paint the atmospheric image of the animal’s biotope. The synthesizer calms the waves to show the elegance of the whale as he cuts through the water.
When the drums and bass kick in and push the guitar, the whale takes speed to get away from danger. The deep will be his savior that’s where the guitar and synthesizer illustrate the mammal’s playground.
Rest assured that the whale is safe when you listen to the smooth ending of the song.
Triton
Our admiration for the sea is celebrated in Triton.
As you walk along the shoreline and embrace the fresh air and bright sound of the waves, you will be driven towards the depths of the ocean and rescued by the mystic powers of Triton.
The guitar lines bring you to a point of reflection where you rest on a sandbank and hear the murmuring water, to then continue to see Triton riding the crest of the waves.
The smooth and melodic end will bring you safely back to shore.
Penumbra
Time to take the tempo down and create some synthesizer soundscapes colored by a luscious guitar line.
Bring in the drums and bass, sit back and relax, the guitar melody makes you dreamy and turn to the next page of the story. You’re still looking for the hazy figures that move in front of you, too far away to recognize them.
You cannot just sit and wait, you have to explore what is happening, the synthesizer melody will take you one step further. Stop, time for reflection with the guitar accompanied by a fretless bass.
Then you are ready to finally unmask those moving shadows.
